Boston Beer Works Watermelon Ale

Boston Beer Works salute to summer ale. A refreshing light ale brewed with an all natural watermelon flavored extract, and garnished with a slice of watermelon on every glass. The beer is a slightly hazed, copper gold coloring with a steady flow of carbonation and a frothy, bright white head. It has aromas of syrupy/sugary sweet watermelon, with a slight toasted grain backbone. Flavors are toasty and smooth initially, with a biscuity backbone, followed by a sharp, sweet watermelon blast. The beer starts off smooth, but becomes watery quickly in mouth. Lightly sweet watermelon aftertaste, with a light, almost limp finish.
