For our 22 ounce IPA brews, we play around a bit. We brew the same malt profile each time, but experiment with different hops. Kind of like "research" for beer aficionados - a noble study of hop flavor and aroma. Willamette is a mid alpha hop bred decades ago from Fuggles. We like it for its woody or grassy tones and a smooth bitterness. Some say its too mild for West Coast IPA, but we find it quite drinkable.
