A classic Belgian yeast strain offers sweet, complex aromatics layered into a sturdy backbone of American-grown hops. Strong bitterness and notes of citrus round out this balanced pale ale.
A resurrection of Bière de Garde from days gone by; this ale is composed of 100% French malt and Fermented with our house Bière de Garde strain. This ale is malt-forward with our signature Vivant yeast character.
Belgian Style Dark Ale Our pub & brewery was formerly the site of a historic funeral home dating back to the early 1900s. The pub is actually set into the refurbished Chapel of the funeral parlor. While an undertaker has not walked these halls in many years, this dark ale made with our favorite house yeast strain harkens back to the previous tenant. Characteristics: Expect a dark, sinister pour with notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate, and a hint of dark cherries. The lingering finish whispers molasses and roastiness. Great with: Grilled steak will pick up the smokiness of the beer. Cheese Picks: Blue cheese or smoked gouda stand up to the darkness.
This beer is straw colored. It smells of citrus, pine, and a hint of other earthy smells. The taste has small hints of fruit in the background and strong flavors of wheat or grass. Slight bitter notes to offset the sweetness of the fruit. Very balanced. The body is light. Overall, a very drinkable everyday beer.
