Sweetwater Blue is a unique lighter style ale enhanced with a hint of fresh blueberry. When you drink this beer take a good whiff first and you'll smell the blueberry influence, but on the taste it's extremely subtle and the finish is extra clean. Ain't no fruit beer, but it is our breakfast beer, usually folks that are looking to quench their thirst or for those that are new to the good beer lifestyle this is their choice. This brew and the ESB were the original two to go through the tanks at SweetWater in February 1997.
Sweetwater Take Two Pils is a German Pilsener style beer brewed by SweetWater Brewing Company in Atlanta, GA.
Casting our line in the water 20 years ago in the great city of Atlanta has lead us down some tremendous paths and some twisted alleys. Wouldn’t be who we are today without all the joys and bumps along the way. This year’s anniversary ale is a step forward for us, while staying true to who we’ve always been (a little rough around the edges). We are going big this year with this giant IPA, but then playing with some new toys we’ve grown to love at the brewery – the unique quality that the Hash delivers to our beer as well as the dose of brettanomyces the brings the funk to that soul. The 20th anniversary IPA is an extremely hop forward with a residual sweetness and golden in color covered with a wonderful haze. The Brettanomyces used is our house blend, which you’ll see more and more as our Woodlands Project grows. As fermentation finishes, the Brett will start to produce its associated acids and phenols and to lend a slightly tart finish. The aroma will be fruity, herbal, tropical, citrus, and the Brettanomyces will give it a nice touch of funk and earthy phenolics to bring a unique definition to this wondrous creation. Here’s to 20 years of heady beers – looking forward to a boatload more!!!
A tropical approach to the IPA style – TripleTail weaves juicy bodacious hops with notes of papaya, pineapple, and passionfruit into this lush hop-forward IPA, creating a mouthwatering vacation for your senses. At 5.5% ABV, you can lean back assured it will refresh from sun up to sun down.
