Redhook likes them apples.
Winterhook is the perfect beer to keep warm during cold months after shoveling snow, shredding some powder, or playing hooky to can catch the game. Since it was first brewed, Redhook’s Winterhook has changed slightly each year to celebrate the season and keep everyone on their toes. After all, no one likes getting the same gift twice. The 30th version of Winterhook brewed for this year offers a rich caramel body that balances a big malt backbone with the aggressively dry hopped brew, making this year’s winter ale slightly naughty and very nice.
Finally a lager worthy of the Emerald city and the great state of Washington. Redhook Extra Special Lager traces its ancestry from the great export style beers of the Dortmund region of Germany. A bold malt body and slight sweetness is balanced with a firm hop bitterness that lingers slightly on the tongue. Redhook ESL is clean, full of flavor and highly sessionable.
Czech out Redhook’s newest brew. Redhook Pilsner is crisp, golden lager that is modeled after those historic beers originally made in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia. Redhook Pilsner’s maltiness is offset by a medium dose of Saaz hops and finishes with a clean, bright, thirst-quenching quality. A great “session” lager for when you’ve got a long day ahead of drinking.
Peaches for Me IPA was a limited release beer in 2018, and it was so delicious that we just had to being it back. This IPA is loaded with juicy, peach and mango amplified by brazen Bavo, tropical Citra and experimental HBC431 hops.
Aromas of citrus, fresh cut grass and tropical fruit accompany flavors of grass, caramel notes and big bitterness. Finish is bitter, dry and comes with a lingering hop presence. Hops used are Alchemy, Chinook, Cascade, HBC-431, Centennial, Mosaic, Eureka.
