A classic German blonde lager. Clean Pilsner malt sweetness supported by a subtle, refined Continental hop character. Initially part of Port City's Rotating Lager Series, Helles is now available seasonally on draft and in bottles.
Downright Pilsner was the first lager to become a Port City flagship. It debuted in 2012 as our first summer seasonal. Downright Pilsner is a brilliant gold lager, medium-bodied with a soft, round malt profile and crisp, spicy hop character. We brew Downright in the traditional Czech Pilsner style, using 100% Pilsner malt and noble Saaz hops. To further accentuate the spicy aroma, we dry hop our pilsner with additional Saaz hops. Downright Pilsner gets its carbonation completely naturally as it lagers in our fermentation tanks for six weeks.
Crafted specifically for the return of spring, Ways & Means will be a full bodied ASB. It will be complex and hoppy with a spicy, peppery character, which comes from a generous addition of rye malt. This golden-amber ale is also remarkably low in alcohol, at only 4.5%, making it extremely crisp and thirst-quenching for the transition of spring into the summer season. This ASB will have pleasant bitterness, with 55 International Bitterness Units (IBU), making it smooth and refreshing. Ways & Means will be brewed with a blend of specialty malts and rye, including North American Pilsner malt, Rye malt, Golden Naked Oats and Crystal malt. It will also contain both Liberty and Centennial hops. The combinations make for a luscious malty and hoppy aroma. Ways & Means finishes with the typical clean and refreshing character for which Port City’s beers are known, and it is bound to be an overall crowd-pleaser.
Ways & Means is a session IPA brewed with rye that is complex and hoppy. This low alcohol IPA has just the right amount of Citra and Centennial hops.
Breathe deep: Integral IPA is all about big, complex aromas, coaxed from some of your favorite new school American hops. A refined, dry body serves as the golden-hued canvas for layers of hop character – think overripe pineapple, guava, and melon. You can thank HOPZOOKA and hop-bursting for that.
