Our rotating series of American-style IPAs hopped exclusively with Southern Hemisphere varieties from Australia and New Zealand. The hop-growing terroir of these countries has taken the beer-drinking world by storm with their remarkable array of intense, fruity and tropical hops that marry well with modern interpretations of the India Pale Ale style. The core of Albatross! is a simple base of New England-grown 2-row and German malted wheat, but it's the ever-evolving cast of unique hops that make each batch an exciting new experiment for your palate!
Explore the brewing terroir of Massachusetts! Friendly Territory's pale, dry body is crafted entirely with 2-Row Barley and Warthog Wheat from Valley Malt (Hadley, MA) and features an array of hops from Four Star Farms (Northfield, MA): an alluring blend of Centennial, Crystal, Cascade, Magnum, Mt. Rainier, Pepite, and Chaos, resulting in lush aromas of tropical citrus with a crisp herbal background.
The gentler sibling to our outrageous Imperial IPA Laser Cat, LASER KITTEN is an American-style IPA that arrives at session strength. It still packs plenty of Citra and Mosaic for a citrusy, fruity punch, while the body is kept extra pale, light, and dry to let those hops shine!
Plenty of dense citrus, tropical fruit, and herbal notes to assault your hop-loving senses. Dry-hopped with absurd amounts of Citra and Nugget.
Whether brewing at home or creating a beer here at Medusa, it’s always more fun to invite our friends. The beer in this can was an idea we put together with John and Joel of Foundation Brewing in Portland, ME. Featuring a meld of Maine-grown Two Row, German Vienna, and Malted Oats, to deliver a smooth, well-rounded mouthfeel. With hints of white grape and tropical citrus from a hop bill that includes Azacca, Hallertau Blanc, and Massachusetts-grown Magnum, this simple beer was designed to be shared with friends.
With Activate! we've taken a robust porter and infused it with local coffee, masterfully roasted by Jesse Medley of Union Coffee Roasters. Our black ale's rich cocoa and subtle caramel notes provide a lovely base to freshly roasted Burundi, a bourbon varietal described as tart, juicy, with fruity characters of strawberry, blackberry, apricot, lemon, and grapefruit.
