A big dark holiday stout aged in varying spirit barrels for a year. Hints of chocolate, molasses, vanilla and oak lead way to a spiciness from the Whiskey and Fernet barrels it was aged in. This stout has huge mouth feel without being cloying because of our house mixed wild culture. Very different than almost anything else we have ever made. This is a perfect beer to enjoy as the weather cools down this fall and winter.
Our Gose recipe has changed many times over the years but the one constant is the use of our local sea water for the salt additions. This tart and slightly salty golden ale is a brewery favorite and truly gives you a taste of our Central Coast region in a glass.
A delicious fruit forward wild ale aged on peaches. We took our barrel aged golden ale and then transferred it onto a ton of deliciously juicy peaches to age. The sweetness from the fruit really shines in this complex and very dry beer. Limited quantities available so grab it while you can.
This Blackberry Gose was blended exclusively for the Jupiter Bar in Berkeley! It is aged in Zhang red wine barrels. In mythology, Jove was another name for Jupiter, supreme god of Romans. The idiom “By Jove!” is used in modern language to express surprise and approval, exactly how you’ll feel when drinking this light, salty, tart beer.
