Smokey the Beer is a Rauchbier brewed in collaboration with our friends from Brato Brewhouse + Kitchen (Boston, MA). On the nose, a familiar campfire scent is enriched by light aromas of grilled pear and grape must, emphasizing sweet wood character without any trace of char. Pale amber in color and especially smooth, this lager’s lightly smoky flavor is derived from Beechwood and Cherrywood smoked malts.
Easy-drinking and refreshing, this golden lager presents a soft floral character complemented by biscuit maltiness, slight spice from the noble hops, and a round, smooth finish. With notes of fresh cut flower, wheat cracker, and herbs, it is best enjoyed in the bright sunshine!
A Pale Lager dry-hopped with Hallertau Blanc, this beer has bright aromas of honeydew and fresh grass followed by crisp flavors of lemonheads, hay, and white grape skin.
Jagged Little Pils is a Czech-Style Pilsner fermented in oak foeders. Brilliantly golden and strickingly clean, this easy-drinking lager achieves a delicate balance of complex malt character, spicy noble hop aroma, and subtle undertones of oaky vanilla.
A light-bodied German-style Pilsner. Clear and golden, with a delicate floral nose and crisp malt bite. A blend of Noble hops bolster flavors of straw and biscuit, backed by a herbaceous finish. Drinks dry and slightly bitter. Named to honor the alt-rock jams of Apollo Sunshine, a Boston-based group that disbanded in 2010. Tasting Notes: Floral, Grassy, Biscuit
A German-style Dunkel lager made in collaboration with Night Shift Brewing. This beer exudes dark amber hues, lighting the way for aromas of toasted malt and freshly ground caraway. Deep sips reveal rich flavors of roasted chestnuts, toasted pumpernickel, and hints of caramel. This lager finishes with a soft mouthfeel, light bitterness, and medium-dry finish.
Oktoberfest is our take on a Bavarian Marzen, the lager traditionally served at Oktoberfest celebrations. Before refrigeration, brewing ceased with the coming of spring, typically in March (“Marz” in German). To prepare for fall, brewers developed a rich and toasty brew whose higher abv prevented infection during the hot summer months. Our interpretation is similarly full-bodied, boasting complex malt character with a hint of sweetness and a snappy bitter finish. Best served in a stein. Prost!
