Dark mahogany beer with a tan head. Big grapefruit aroma with light summer fruit. Grapefruit and light pine flavor with light roast. Medium bodied. Ruby grapefruit and light pine linger with light caramel and light darker malts
Coronado Brewed & Bottled version. A Rye IPA collaboration with Bear Republic. The pungent and layered blend of Ella, El Dorado, Equinox, and Azacca dry hops coupled with a whirlpool addition of Buddha’s Hand creates an aromatic explosion, ending with a spicy malt caramel backbone.
Tropical fruit meets tropical vibes in this “guavacated” version of our Islander IPA. Brewed with the classic West Coast combo of Centennial, Chinook and Columbus hops, this beer gets the tropical treatment with a hefty dose of fresh guava puree. The result is a surprisingly smooth, unfiltered IPA bursting with tropical goodness that’s sure to put you in that island state of mind.
Bottle. Clear amber pour with a 1 finger head that fades very slowly to a nice film with a thick ring. Great lacing too. Not much to the aroma really. Some sweet malt, honey, citrus, and light pine. Tastes great though. A tab sweet but it seems to work for this one. Tons of citrus, some honey and pine, and a light bitter and grassy finish. Ultra smooth and easy to drink. Love this. Wish the aroma was a bit better but oh well.
