We love ipa. Especially big hoppy ones. This west coast style imperial India pale ale is not messing around. At 12% abv and 110 ibu’s, it’s the liquid equivalent of Lenny in John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men. Gently tending rabbits then suddenly….snap, it’s a whirlwind of crazy. Big citrusy aromatics, solid bitter backbone, and candy-like finish.
Smoglifter label is submitted. The final version is a imperial chocolate milk stout checking in at 10%abv. Look for a seasonal version next year made with white Russian flavored cold pressed coffee called Abide.
The minute we tasted Texas Exile, our imperial coffee porter, we knew we needed to put some in bourbon barrels. The result is almost too much for the human mouth.
