Our extremely limited winter barleywine ale. Traditional winter seasonals are warm and comforting -- not this bird! Diving in at around 10 percent alcohol by volume, Killer Penguin uses over twice the malt as other winter beers. Aged to perfection, this beer doesn't ferment, it hibernates -- and wakes up with an attitude!
Helles means bright in German, and no wonder - this golden colored crisp lager is low in hops, smooth in flavor and high in celebration!
Brewed with generous amounts of Vienna and Munich malts for a rich, full-bodied malty flavor, Dragonhosen begins as a traditional Oktoberfest lager, then stealthily breathes fire with 9% alcohol by volume. Hallertau and Czech Saaz hops add balance with a mild earthy aroma and flavor with moderate bitterness.
Emerging from winter’s cold into sunny spring is Emergent White IPA. Orange peel contributes a bright, citrus flavor complemented by a subtle spiciness from the coriander and Belgian yeast. With a golden hue and fruity, floral hop aroma and flavor, Emergent goes down like a breath of fresh mountain air.
