As in 2016's batch, this viscous 13.4% beast was aged in bourbon barrels with just a handful of Madagascar vanilla beans and will be finished on cacao nibs and Coldbot Coffee's Salvadorian + Guatemalan coffee beans.
The Dark Wanderer is a Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Chocolate Stout. The aroma is rife with chocolate, coffee, bourbon, and light vanilla. Flavor is a balance of rich, sweet malt and brooding dark chocolate -- the bourbon character is firm and pleasant.
