The 2011 vintage is bright ruby red in color and has pronounced aromas of fresh, dark cherries, cedar wood and a hint of cinnamon. The palate is finely textured with layers of rich red plum & white pepper intermingling. With a great backbone stemming from the clay rich soil, this Pinot is easily going to see a long lifespan with cellaring potential for at least a decade. That’s if you can wait, until then this wine will no doubt benefit from some decanting.
