Pinot Noir is not only one of the most famous, but one of the hottest grape varieties in the world. Of course, it is one of the most capricious grapes, requiring the very coolest, hilliest areas in hard soils to express its signature finesse and elegance. As Pinot Noir is one of the most “terroir driven” red grapes, our Campet Pinot Noir, found an optimum home in the high hills and hard soils (clay, limestone) of Limoux.
Vinified in stainless steel, only a very small proportion of the beverage (10%) has had contact with wood, respecting the relatively light bodied identity of this vintage.
