We craft this wine to be our complex yet approachable Merlot. The wine offers aromas of black cherry, leather and spice with layers of rich dark red fruit flavors and a long, smooth, sweet finish. A touch of Syrah adds a jammy fruit character. I think of this wine as a great “everyday red."

Brazilian wine Tinto Fino Demi, is a court dominated by Merlot variety plus a portion of Tannat, which helps to structure bringing balance to the wine. Ruby red color with intense violet reflections. Ronan By Clinet 2012 presents a brilliant ruby appearance. Its nose is aromatic with hints of cherry, raspberry and blackcurrant, enlivened with sweet pepper. The fruity freshness of the bouquet is equally complemented by floral hints (blueberry flowers). Its attack, delicately wrapped, reveals a sweet fruity evolution. On the palate, flavours of raspberry, fresh cherry and redcurrant develop, complemented with fine spices. Its finish is persistent and flavoursome.

Produced by the first organic wine makers in Italy this gem is a true expression of the Veneto Region. Rischio Rele Rosso is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet, Corvina and Raboso that is aged for 1 year in French Oak. The world renowned primary production area is Valpolicella which primarily consists of limestone. As a result the wine exhibits fruity aromas, hints of cherry, small berries and floral nuances. The color is plush ruby red and bouquet is complex with elegant notes of red fruits and vanilla hints. The taste is smooth with excellent structure and balance. Big, rich and concentrated on the palate, with supple, well-integrated tannins, the wine’s mouthfilling black cherry, dark berry, black plum and blackcurrant flavors segue into a long, savory finish featuring rich chocolate and zesty spice tones. Delicious now with grilled red meats and sausages, cherry-glazed roast duck or pork tenderloin, and hearty, tomato-based pastas, this luxurious Merlot will profit from another 3-5 years of bottle age.

With our Merlot we offer the distinctive flavors and Mendoza’s purest expressions of that other emblematic varietal in Bordeaux.
