Patrón Añejo 7 Años was never meant to become the extra special, extra añejo tequila it is, but thanks to a incredibly lucky turn of events it became one of Patrón's oldest and rarest tequilas. Made from the same handcrafted process unique to all Patrón Tequilas, the French oak barrels it was meant to rest in for a year went undetected in the aging room for six more. As luck would have it, the exact placement of the barrels created an atmosphere perfect for aging and produced an incredibly delicious spirit. This limited-edition tequila features notes of dried fruits, light citrus and light caramel. In addition to its delicious flavor, it's presented in a replica of the very first handblown glass Patrón Tequila bottle to commemorate this remarkable, once-in-a-lifetime occurrence.
