The Glenrothes vintage series was crafted to showcase Scotches at their drinking peak - forgoing the prevailing convention of age-statements and allowing greater expressive freedom to Malt Master Gordon Motion to create unique and memorable bottlings. The Glenrothes 2004 Vintage was created from a small selection of American oak sherry casks all laid down in 2004 and later bottled in 2017 as the very last vintage to ever be released by the distillery. The character is rich and rounded with mango, sweet citrus and oaky vanilla notes leading to a long lasting finish. A limited release of just over three thousand bottles, this is an exceedingly rare whisky to find.
