Kaiyō Whisky “The Signature” 43% is aged in the finest Japanese Mizunara Oak barrels for the entirety of its maturation process. All of our whiskies are made from malted barley, Un-chillfiltered, and enjoy a three-month ocean maturation that helps bring out the unique flavors that can only be obtained from Mizunara Oak.
Tasting Notes:
A delicately sweet-scented nose of honey and ginger give way to inviting exotic spices and fruits. On the palate this whisky is constantly evolving from toasted oak and nutty, to ripe dried fruit with hints of cherry, and finishes with deep flavors of dark chocolate, sandalwood and herbal tea notes.
