Château Beaulieu means “beautiful place” in French. Dating back to the 1500s, Château Beaulieu was historically home to the great noble families of Provence. Today, the Estate comprises 720 acres and is the largest single Estate in the AOP Coteaux d’Aix-en-Provence appellation. Château Beaulieu’s vineyards are planted on the slopes of the dormant La Trévaresse volcano, which at 1,200 feet in altitude, faces the Lubéron. The vineyards display a diverse range of mineral-rich soils including volcanic basalt and calcareous clay, to produce exceptional expressions of Provence Rosé.
