Alma Coral, brings a new dimension to rosé wines. It is drier and more complex than our estate rosé. It is more serious and offers more depth and the ability to pair with a broader selection of foods. The name Coral refers to the gentle pink colour often found in sea coral. The varieties Grenache and Pinot Gris were handpicked in the cool of the early morning. Once in the winery they were destemmed and allowed to sit on their skins in the press until the winemaker felt that enough colour had been achieved. The grapes were then gently pressed out and allowed to ferment in combination of oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Alma Coral incorporates many different winemaking techniques incorporating complexity and originality to the finished wine. After six months aging in barrel this rosé wine was bottled and brought to you for your enjoyment. Alma Coral is a new and exciting wine; it is a dry and complex well balanced and a little cheeky… All Dalton wines are strictly Kosher Le Mehadrin and Kosher for Passover. They are under the supervision of the Merom Galil Rabbinate, Rabbi Yoseph Mishalil; Beit Din Yoreh Deya, Rabbi Shlomo Machpud; Rabbi Mordechai Ungar of Monsey New York and the Orthodox Union (OU).
