The Michel Dervin Champagne Brut Rosé is a blend of 60% Pinot Meunier and 25% Pinot Noir, which are vinified separately in stainless steel and then blended together. As is common practice for Rosé in Champagne, they add 15% of still red Pinot Noir wine to give it the pink/rose color. The final blend was aged on its lees for three years before disgorgement. The wine is delicious with bright aromas and flavors of black currants and raspberry. The body is light, the palate is fresh and lively, and the finish is clean with good acidity and pretty, tiny bubbles!
