This is a barrel fermented yet not oaky Tuscan Chardonnay. 70% of the wine is stainless steel fermented, while 30% is barrel fermented. The two wines are then blended. The result is an elegant and complex, yet very drinkable 100% Chardonnay wine. The nose is intense and refined with lots of tropical fruit and spices. The palate is firm with great minerality and a subtle yet present acidity.
Pair with fried dishes as well as all kinds of grilled or lightly smoked meats.
