Bright, fruit-forward, stainless steel Chardonnay grown on a steep, calcium and iron rich, sandstone hillside in the village of Flonheim. Sur-lie aging (on the native yeasts) softens the crisp acidity and tingly minerality, leaving the wine delicate and balanced. Our growers and co-winemakers, Nico and Laura Espenschied, practice sustainable farming and minimal intervention winemaking on their family estate in the Rheinhessen.
