The Lamy family have been farming in the village of Chassagne-Montrachet since the mid 1700s. Located in Chassagne-Montrachet Lamy gets tremendous extraction and layering in his white wines. The Le Charmois vineyard is set in both limestone and marl soils which always give the wines a more pronounced mineral aroma and flavors.
A harmonious combination of rich, ripe fruit and balancing acidity. Poached pears and some pineapple and butter roasted nuts. Silky, almost oily in the mouth with tremendous saturation and depth. Big body and with the perfect amount of acid to keep it from coming off as clunky.
