La Passion du Diable is the dark light that drew us into this project. Always 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it is our magnum opus. Our inspiration is drawn from the dense mystery surrounding Cabernet’s hold on our imaginations. Everything we have is brought to bear in this wine.

PRODUCTION: Hand harvested around 27,5 brix. Grapes were cold soaked for 7 days with one punchdown and pumpover per day.
FERMENTATION: Fermented for 4 weeks in 100% new French oak
ELEVAGE: 16 months on fine lees with one racking after fall.
STARLANE VINEYARD: Situated on the Eastern edge of Santa Ynez Valley in the Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara. With vineyard elevations ranging from 750 to 1550 feet above sea level, microclimates emerge within the site to produce a beautiful and diverse palette that helps create a distinct range of estate fruit hand.
