Variety: 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Origin: 85% Block Las Terrazas, Old Pirque Vineyard, Maipo Valley. 15% Puente Alto Vineyard, Maipo Valley. Soil: Alluvial. Stony, poor in nutrients and highly permeable due to the gravel sub-soil. Climate: Semi-arid Mediterranean. Strongly inuenced by the Andes and the nearby Maipo river. Large diurnal temperature dierences aid fruit concentration and intensify aromas. Harvest: Hand picked. April 25th- May 19th, 2011. Aging: 14 months in French oak barrels. Winemaker´s notes: Deep red. Expressive, black fruit, mineral notes, led pencil, black currant and g aromas. Well structured, muscular, detaching soft tannins, persistent with a long, pure and fruity nish.
