Jigsaw Pinot Noir

2009 was an almost ideal vintage in the Willamette Valley, with nearly record hang times, harvesting well into the end of October for some vineyards. This allowed for deep flavors and full ripening. The summer was very warm but eased off in September and October without much precipitation. This helped retain ideal acidity for balanced and elegant wines. The first thing you will note on the nose is the fresh raspberry aromas with a hint of violet. This wine has great structure with soft, velvety tannins.
