The fruit for this wine is grown on our hillside vineyards in the Marlborough region where the cool climate allows this fragile fruit to ripen without the risk of disease or the use of harmful chemicals. Our vineyards are all managed sustainably and this extra care is extended to the winery where the Pinot Noir fruit is hand processed and fermented in temperature controlled tanks. Part of the wine is then aged in French oak while part is aged in stainless steel tank to preserve the fresh vibrant fruits. Aromas of strawberry, plums, spices and cherries. This Pinot has the classic soft velvet tannins of ripe Pinot Noir that make the wine silky and a pleasure at any time.
